Google Ads Agency UK | PPC Management Judged on Cost Per Sale
Taking on UK clients

A Google Ads agency UK brandshire after the last one burned budget

Clicks are easy to buy. Turning them into enquiries at a cost that still leaves you a margin is the actual job. We build campaigns around high intent searches only, test weekly, and cut what stalls instead of letting it quietly drain the account.

What the work involves

Three parts to every Google Ads campaign we run

An ads account is a structure problem, a creative problem and a measurement problem. Most underperforming accounts we inherit have all three, and fixing them in the wrong order wastes another month of spend.

Account structure Paid media specialist reviewing Google Ads account structure for a UK client

Rebuild the account before adding a penny of budget

Most accounts we take over are spending against themselves. Campaigns bid on the same terms, broad match pulls in searches nobody wanted, and Performance Max quietly eats the brand traffic you would have got for free.

  • Full account audit. Where the spend actually goes, which terms produce enquiries, and what is being wasted.
  • Search term clean up. Negative keyword lists built properly, so you stop paying for searches that were never going to convert.
  • Campaign separation. Search, Shopping and Performance Max structured so they stop competing with each other for the same click.
  • Bidding set to your goal. Target CPA or ROAS chosen against your actual margin, not whatever the platform recommends.

Ads and landing pages that match what was searched

A click costs the same whether the page delivers on the ad or not. Message match between search, ad and landing page is the cheapest conversion rate improvement available, and it is the one most accounts skip.

  • Intent mapped keywords. Every term sorted by how close the searcher is to actually buying, and bid accordingly.
  • British English ad copy. Written for UK buyers, with pricing, delivery and terms that read as local.
  • Landing pages per campaign. The visitor lands on the thing they searched for, not a generic homepage.
  • Creative on a testing cycle. New angles every fortnight, winners scaled, losers cut without sentiment.

Numbers that reconcile with your bank account

Google will happily report conversions that never became revenue. Before we scale anything we make sure the number in the dashboard matches the number in your CRM, because scaling a broken measurement just loses money faster.

  • Conversion tracking rebuilt. Set up before spend, tested properly, with duplicates and phantom conversions removed.
  • Server side and offline events. Enhanced conversions and CRM imports so the platform learns from real sales, not form fills.
  • Lead quality fed back. Which campaigns produce enquiries that reach proposal stage, and which produce noise.
  • VAT aware reporting. ROAS calculated on what you keep, not on the revenue figure the platform prefers to show.
Why work with us

What tends to be different about working here

Every agency claims transparency and results. These are the specific commitments we make, which you are welcome to hold us to.

Reported in revenue, not clicks

Impressions and click through rate are diagnostics, not results. Your monthly report leads with conversions, cost per sale and what the account returned in pounds. Everything else sits further down, where it belongs.

You own everything

The ad account, conversion tracking and every campaign we build stay in your name. If we part ways you keep the lot, including the historical data the account has learned from.

No long lock in

An initial period long enough for the work to be judged fairly, then rolling terms. If the numbers stop moving and we cannot explain why, you should be free to leave.

Senior people on your account

The person who audits your account is the person who runs it. Nothing gets sold in a pitch by one team and handed to a junior the week after signing.

Honest before profitable

If your budget cannot realistically compete for the terms you want, we tell you at the audit stage rather than burning three months of spend to arrive at the same answer.

We tell you when to stop

Some markets are too expensive for the margin available, and no amount of optimisation fixes that. If your numbers cannot work at UK click prices we will say so rather than spending another quarter proving it.

Client results

Three UK ad accounts and what they produced

Every figure below comes from the client's own Google Ads account over the period stated.

Lead generation Google Ads performance summary showing 401 conversions from 1.4K clicks

Kevin's campaign

United Kingdom · 90 day view

401Conversions
28%Conversion rate
1.4KClicks
15.3KImpressions

Spend was spread across broad keywords that filled the account with clicks and almost no enquiries. We rebuilt around high intent search terms only, tightened match types and rewrote the ads to match the landing page. A 28 percent conversion rate sits well above the usual benchmark for this kind of campaign.

Limo hire Google Ads campaign results for a UK limousine hire service

Limo hire service

United Kingdom · Three month view

421Enquiries
40%Conversion rate
1.06KClicks
15.8KImpressions

The account was bidding on broad hire terms with no local qualifier, which meant paying for searches from every corner of the country for a service that only travels so far. We rebuilt the keyword set around town and occasion led searches, wedding, prom and airport transfer terms tied to the areas actually served, then rewrote every headline to name the occasion and the town rather than the company. Matching the ad to what was typed lifted the conversion rate without adding a penny to the budget. Four in every ten clicks went on to become an enquiry.

B2B trade Google Ads campaign results for Trade Supplies UK

Trade Supplies UK

Carlisle · One month view

590Conversions
43%Conversion rate
1.37KClicks
14.1KImpressions

Tom was running a single campaign across a catalogue of hundreds of trade lines, which meant the highest margin products competed for budget against the cheapest. We split the account by product group, moved spend toward the ranges that actually return a margin, and wrote ad copy that leads with trade pricing and stock availability rather than the company name. Converting 590 times from 1.37K clicks means close to half of everyone who clicked went on to enquire.

How we start

Four steps from first call to first conversion

The order is deliberate. Nothing goes live until we know what a good enquiry is worth to your business.

Account audit

Where the spend goes, which terms convert, what is being wasted and where competitors are outbidding you. You get the findings whether you work with us or not.

Tracking and targets

Conversion tracking, GBP values and attribution set up properly, plus an agreed target cost per sale so success is not a matter of opinion later.

Rebuild and launch

Structure fixed first, then campaigns and ad copy rebuilt in priority order, starting with the terms closest to a sale.

Review and scale

Weekly optimisation, monthly review against pipeline. Budget moves toward what converts and away from what does not, with the reasoning shown.

Questions

What UK clients ask before signing

How much does Google Ads management cost in the UK?
Management fees usually work as a percentage of spend or a flat monthly fee, and which suits you depends on how much you are spending and how complex the account is. We quote after the audit, never before. Separately from our fee, we work with ad budgets from £500 a month and will tell you honestly if that is not enough to compete in your market.
How quickly will we see results?
Paid search produces usable data within the first fortnight and campaigns usually stabilise by week six. That is faster than SEO, but the first month is largely spent gathering data and cutting waste, so judge the account on month two and three rather than week one.
Do we need a big budget to make Google Ads work?
You need enough budget to gather data on the terms that matter. In a low competition market that can be a few hundred pounds a month. In something like insurance or legal services, where a single click can cost double figures, it cannot. We will tell you which of those you are in before you commit.
What if our account is already running badly?
That is most of what we take on. We audit first and tell you whether the account is worth restructuring or better rebuilt. Existing conversion history has value, so we rarely start from zero unless the tracking was wrong all along, in which case the data was misleading you anyway.
Will we own the ad account?
Yes. The account stays in your name with your billing, and we work inside it with our own access. If we part ways you keep the account, the campaigns and the conversion history it has learned from.
Do you run Meta and other paid channels too?
Yes, though we would usually get Google working first for anything with clear search demand. Meta suits products people discover rather than search for, and pairing the two works well once you know what a conversion is worth.
